English & Communication Department
The Argo English & Communication department offers courses that develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to help them become stronger thinkers and communicators. Alongside traditional aspects of literacy, the English & Communication department strives to develop media literacy, visual literacy, and technology literacy. This multifaceted approach, which also includes instruction in research and rhetoric, provides students the skills necessary for success in their courses at Argo and in college and/or their future careers.
